100 Blogs

I am nearing my 100th blog. I should do something spectacular with it, 100th post WOWZA special.

I'm trying to think of what to do.
I have one really great idea
And nothing else.


I dont want to spoil the surprise dear internet.
So you'll just have to wait ;)

Today the hubby got the news that he has a job! Wee!
He will be working for an office supply chain, not going to say who.
but he is very excited.
He loves the smell of office supply stores.
Loves all the geeky gadgets
The pens
Rubber band balls
Magnetic paper clip holders
Walls and walls of paper of every sort.
Packing tape and highlighters, oh my!

We were helping out at mom's garage sale.
He helped bag two purchases because he knew all the geeky answers
We can't wait for him to start. (Next Wednesday or Thursday)

I went running last night on our elliptical machine in the fitness center
Ugh my thighs hurt really bad today
I was panting gasp ugh after 10 minutes
I wanted to give up at 20
Hubby said no, I could make it to 30.
I was annoyed by 25
Almost fell over after 30, my legs felt like jelly.
Like I was missing my bones and somehow had to balance on jiggly legs
Came home, laid on the couch, drank 2 glasses of water, then took a nice lukewarm shower and climbed into bed.

We're going again tonight. I'm not really looking forward to it, but I lost another pound and a half. I think I'm starting to move off my plateau.

We resigned our lease with our current apartment. For two reasons primarily.
A) We didnt want to physically move all of our stuff and 2) We are struggling this month financially, and didn't have the resources to move.

When we went down to the office, we told them that we were currently unemployed but receiving benefits, we are looking for work. The lady was nice and resigned our lease at a price $10 above what we are paying now. Usually it goes up $50. So $10 is nothing, I am pretty sure that we accrue that in loose change every month, and we like the big pool and the fitness center is awesome late at night.

We got our carpets cleaned as part of the deal. The guys came in, used a heat extraction system, they looked great.... Then the cats ate something they werent supposed to and barfed all over it.

Sigh.
