Makes You Wonder

Call it what you will: fate, destiny, karma, God, the divine, the universe, the powers that be.... whatever you prefer.

I believe that everything works out as it is meant to. After selling the Taurus, we became a 1 car family. I am not against the idea of being a one car family. I was hoping to not get a second car until Drake is ready for school.

The biggest concern though, was Brian's schedule at work. He works 9 or 10 hours a day, on Monday and Tuesday. It's hard to be home alone all that time and not have the option to go anywhere. Even if I never go anywhere haha.

He had mentioned to his boss that come December, he would like to get off the day shift at work and work exclusively nights. We felt this is the best decision because "nights" don't start until 4 pm. This way he can sleep during the day, and help me with the baby once he gets home from work.

Well, we found out yesterday that he had been taken off of the day shift now. We weren't sure what to think of that, since it's a whole extra month ahead of time. But it seems like it was a blessing. Now he can help me with errands during the day before work. He makes just as much working half the shift, and they gave him an extra day of working. Now he works 5 hours a day, 6 days a week.

Doesn't seem like a lot of working, but it is actually perfect. It gives him plenty of time to focus on commissions as well.

It's a blessing. It's so neat how things like that work out, isn't it?
