Hobbit

aka Bottomless Pit Syndrome.

It's what I've been afflicted with lately, apparently. For the last 48 hours, it seems like I can never get full. I don't really eat a whole lot at one time any more, but it seems like I am constantly grazing.

I'm just rollin' with it. I like eating and I went grocery shopping last night, so I was able to get some goodies.

Did you know Weight Watcher meals were on sale this week at my store? Neither did I until I went. 5 for $10 ($2 each- save 0.75 each) and if you buy 10, you get $4 off at the register instantly. Okay, so that's 10 for $20, minus $4 = 10 for $16 or $1.60 each??? I bought 10.

I'm down to 6 already. I ate 2 packages of the brownie desserts (so 4 desserts total) and 2 packages of the French toast and sausage links. Yum, yum.

4 chocolate desserts lasted about 12 hours in the house. It's a new record... that's the longest anything chocolate has ever lasted in the house.

I also got a pound of sliced turkey for sandwiches. I love sandwiches.

I've put together a grocery list for "life with baby". Next week, I am spending a little bit extra at the grocery store to stock up on necessities for the baby. And if the baby doesn't come early, well, I'm going to devote part of my budget each week to groceries to keep it stocked.

Today the weather is nasty- it's been raining for about 3 days straight and now we are in the middle of a winter storm warning until 1 am. It's a mix of rain and snow, so right now it's sleeting. Fun. Did I mention Brian is working in this shit today? Bitches better tip him well, that's all I have to say.

It's the perfect day to cuddle up under the blankets with a huge (I mean huge) mug of hot chocolate and just play on the iPad hehe

  1. How is it that I have better weather than you?! That shouldn't be possible - they kept prepping us for storms that never made it. Go figure! Hope it clears up soon!

Don't forget to store up some meals for when baby is home! It'll be nice to just nuke something when you're exhausted! Good job watching the sales and couponing it! I'm doing the trader joe's buy-in-bulk sort of thing. For example, I found out that a large multi-grain, veggie lasagna (which is YUMMY) costs $3.99. It has 4 LARGE servings. So couple that with some protein or extra fresh veggies and I've got a meal for $1ish/serving! :) The sales on the good diet frozen foods haven't been good enough to beat it yet, but $1.60/meal is awesome.

Maybe stock up on some greek yogurts too?
